Jonas Kaufmann in Opera: new Gala announced for the 2025 Arena Festival

Jonas Kaufmann, internationally renowned artist and opera star, announces an evening event at the Arena di Verona for the summer of 2025.
On Sunday 3 August 2025, as part of the 102nd Arena Festival, the German tenor will star in the unprecedented Jonas Kaufmann in Opera gala. The event is now on sale at www.arena.it and in all Ticketone outlets.
The German tenor thus renews his connection with the biggest stage under the stars, after his success in Aida (2022) and in the galas of 2021 and 2023, both of which ended with seven encores and ovations from the audience
In recent years, audiences have heard and appreciated him in a wide repertoire including Italian opera, Wagner, operetta and even film music.
Kaufmann's announcement took place today in Verona, where, in twenty-four hours, he will perform one of his signature roles for the first time: Mario Cavaradossi in Tosca. The Superintendent of the Arena Foundation Cecilia Gasdia and the Deputy Artistic Director Stefano Trespidi were present.
