Sanremo Festival pays homage to the Practice of Opera Singing in Italy, now part of the UNESCO World Heritage. On Thursday 8th February, the Choir of the Fondazione Arena di Verona will open the third night of the Sanremo Festival. Straight from the Ariston's stage, and transmitted live across the globe on Rai1, the entire Choir prepared by Maestro Roberto Gabbiani will perform the Va' Pensiero by Giuseppe Verdi. For this special occasion, Maestro Francesco Ommassini, the Arena's Artistic Secretary, will conduct the Orchestra of the Sanremo Festival.
